More About Skebenga
Inspired by their South African heritage, the founders named their boat and this brand after the Zulu term,"Skebenga". Combining a love for the ocean and fishing in the Boston area led the designs to be centered around tuna and striper fishing. The brand is ever expanding with new designs frequently. About The Founder
Skebenga Apparel was founded by Tyler Rockett, an undergraduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. Growing up in Swampscott with South African heritage, he wanted to create something that expressed his love for Boston and fishing. The brand at first was just a fun project for his family, but as time went on the website and more designs were created.
